Where is the Ice Pond?

 

Ice Pond is on Woodland Road, north of North Shore Road, and just south of Great Gate and Munsey Drive.

 

Ice Pond is fed by Nilus Brook, running from Mill Road and through "Twelve Shares" to the west side of Ice Pond. Water exiting the Pond at the dam goes through a culvert under Woodland Road, through the Great Meadow via Nilus Brook, and through a culvert under North Shore Road into Mill Pond (off High Street). From there, the water goes under High Street, into Meadow Pond, through Eel Ditch, under Winnacunnet Road, and into the Hampton Harbor salt marsh complex.
